Patsy O'Quinn Dill of Brunswick, GA, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2024, under the care of Coastal Hospice following a long illness. Her family was at her side.

She was born on March 26, 1933, to Walton E. and Georgia Cobb O'Quinn.

Known to her friends as Pat, she was a huge Georgia Bulldogs fan – with all the memorabilia to back it up. Pat also loved the Braves and never missed a game.

Pat grew up camping and fishing with her family. She was big into square dancing and clogging and made her own outfits. She was an avid bowler and passed on her love of the game to the children she taught at the Bowlarena. She was inducted in the Bowling Hall of Fame.

Everyone who knew Pat could tell you that she traveled extensively but always came home for Christmas, which was her favorite holiday. She was a wonderful cook and was famous for her key lime cake and fruitcake cookies, never failing to fulfill a request – and there were many.

Patsy and her late husband, Troy Faircloth, were members of Golden Isles Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Cecil E "Guy" Drury, II; grandson, Michael "Mikey" Vaughn; brother, Walton E. O'Quinn, Jr.; and infant sister, Willie Janet O'Quinn.

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Drury Pirtle (Floyd); daughter-in-law, Deborah Drury; sisters, Marion O'Quinn King and Barbara O'Quinn Smith (Randy); and four grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral Services will begin at 11am, Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Private entombment will be in Brunswick Memorial Park.
