Paul Davis Smith, 87, passed away on Sept. 11th in Brunswick, Georgia where he had lived since a young boy. He was a loving and proud father to his three children, Cindy, William (Bill) and Paul Jr. He is also survived by his wonderful grandchildren Elizabeth, Justin, Rebecca, Katie and five great grandchildren. He served his country during WWII in Europe and was a Purple Heart recipient. He retired from the Brunswick Pulp and Paper in 1987. He will be buried at Arlington National Cemetery in Virginia where his father ,who served during WWI ,is also buried. A special thank you to the doctors and nurses at the Southeast Georgia Health System Hospital in Brunswick, as well as the wonderful staff at the GraceMore Nursing Home and Heartland Hospice.
