Peggy A. Seavert, 70, of Darien passed away June 11th at the S.E. GA Health Systems.She had been a lifelong resident of Darien and was employed at the McIntosh County Sheriff's Department. She was formerly a waitress at Morrison's Restaurant in the mall. Peggy was a member of the American Legion Ladies Auxillary. Funeral services will be held Monday at 11:00 A.M. from the Graveside in Chapel Park Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday night from 6 to 8 PM in the chapel of the Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Pastor Jeremy DeLoach will officiate. Survivors are 2 sons, Roland (Terri) Nieber of Darien, and Billy (Danielle) Seavert of Darien. A daughter, Lonnet (Edward) Roddy of Kentucky; sisters, Deloris, Jeannie, Nancy, Lillian, Martha, Myra and Thelma. Brothers Bob, Tom, Henry and Mike. Grandchildren, Mariah, Patrick, James, Hanna, Colton, Laura, Kayla, Jessie, Robert, Jackson and Hallie. 5 great grandchildren also survive. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be sent to Heartland Hospice. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
