Phil Parker, 72, peacefully departed his earthly home April 29th. His Brunswick family includes his wife of 34 years, Brenda, their daughter and her husband, Jessica and Geoff Cannon; grandsons, Kirkland, Charlie and Philip; in-laws, Charles and Jeanette Thrower, Linda and Tom Walker, Wanda and Jim Jordan, Michael and Dawn Thrower, several nieces and nephews and Aunt Betty Kennedy. A graveside service with full military honors will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, May 3, 2013 at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. The Marine Corps Detachment 716 will serve as honorary pallbearers. Because of the loving care they provided to Phil, the family requests in lieu of flowers that donations be made to The Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.
