Phyllis J. Blystone ~
Phyllis J. Blystone, 78, of Darien, Georgia, formerly of Spring Creek, Pennsylvania, passed away Aug. 25, 2018, after a short illness.
She was born October 15, 1939 to the late Harry A. and Pearl A. Bradybaugh. Phyllis was born and educated in the Kane, Pennsylvania area, graduating from Kane High School. She was employed by Associate Springs Barnes Group for 32 years as a spring maker, retiring in 2001.
She was preceded in death by her late husband, LeRoyice (Slim) Blystone; son, Robert J. Morris; sister, Shirley Chittister, and sister, Patricia, Dailey.
She is survived by a daughter, Stephanie M. Hajec (Tim) of West Spring Creek, PA., and son, James R. Morris, of Darien, Georgia; sister, Irene Stanton of Kane, PA; and brother, Richard Bradybaugh of Dearborn, MI; and special friend, Wayne Tate, of Darien; as well as grandchildren, Carrie Morris, Bobby and Dakota Morris, Chad and Evan Hajec.
She was a member of the VFW and American Legion and enjoyed being a member of the ladies aide for both organizations. She especially enjoyed her 17 years of retirement in Darien, Georgia, where she spent her time working in her yards and flower gardens enjoying the warmth and sunshine of Southeastern Georgia.
No viewing hours will be observed. A celebration of life given by her children and grandchildren will be held at her home Sunday, September 2, 2018, starting at 1 p.m.
