Phyllis Jean Bonghi, 79, passed away June 26, 2022, at home. Born January 7, 1943, in Phillips, WV, she was the daughter of Homer and Effie Windon. Phyllis worked many years at Robert Bruce Textiles, Inc., and retired from Technitrol Electronics, Inc. Phyllis was a huge Elvis fan and loved coffee while watching The Golden Girls. Besides her parents, Phyllis was preceded in death by her husband, Michael A. Bonghi; son, Ronald Slawnyk; and daughter, Alice Lawless. She is survived by her son, Joseph Slawnyk (Darlene); sister, Janice Wilson (Richard); and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The family would like to thank the staff of Coastal Hospice (Susan, Mary, Amy, and Marty) and Dr. Samantha Meeks for the wonderful care they provided.
