Phyllis Corn Johnson, 89, of Brunswick, died Thursday at Fairhaven Assisted Living. She had lived in Brunswick for over 30 years, and was married to Troy L. Johnson for 32 years. She was a waitress in Glynn County for many years, and worked at Howard Johnson's Restaurant for 10 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church.Survivors include 4 sons, Jerry (Johnnie Ruth) Johnson of Winder; Johnny (Joyce) Johnson of Newnan; Jarvis (Helen) Johnson of Hortense; and Jerome (Marjorie) Johnson of Brunswick. A daughter in law, Judy Corn Warren of Brunswick; a sister, Emily Metcalf of Fletcher, NC; a brother, Jack Wilson of Asheville, NC; 11 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.She was predeceased by her husband, Troy L. Johnson, and 2 sons, Jack Corn Jr., and Richard Corn.
