Randle Thomas Carter, affectionately known as Randy, age 76, passed away peacefully on August 18, 2026, in Kingsland, Georgia.

Randy was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend. He was married to Ruth Tooley Carter, the love of his life. Randy was completely dedicated to Ruth and loved her with all his heart. Together, they built a life and a business, owning and operating Randy’s Glass 4 Less side by side. Randy will be remembered for his love of family, his strong work ethic, and the life he shared with those closest to him. His greatest treasures were the people he loved, and his memory will live on through his family and the many lives he touched.

Randy was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas and Lucille Carter.

He is survived by his beloved wife, Ruth Tooley Carter; his children, Courtney Brumfield and Britany Brumfield; his grandchildren, Kendrick, Kyleigh, and Kasen; and his siblings, Stanley Carter (Paula), Sheldon Carter (Lillie), and Terry Carter (Sherry).

Randy’s presence will be deeply missed, but the love he gave so freely will remain in the hearts of his family forever.

A Memorial Service will be held on August 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at Dinsmore Baptist Church, 10500 Old Kings Road, Jacksonville, FL 32219.

Inurnment will take place at Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, Florida.

Rest peacefully, Randy. Your love, your laughter, and the memories you made with those who loved you will never be forgotten.
