Renedell Paulson Nelson "Reno" passed away peacefully at home on May 15, 2021, surrounded by her adoring family. Born in Omaha, Nebraska on July 22, 1929, she married her late husband Raymond on June 19, 1948, and lived a blissful sixty-three years of marriage. They raised their four children in Paramus, New Jersey and retired to Saint Simons Island, Georgia. Reno enjoyed golfing, reading, crossword, bridge, and family sing-a-longs. She will be missed by her children, David Nelson (Luanne), Carol Rodgers (the late Joseph Rodgers), Scott Nelson (Cheryl), and Julie Kiff (Jerry). Her legacy will continue with her twelve grandchildren and twenty-four great-grandchildren, as well as many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren, of whom everyone knows she was immensely proud. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that you perform random acts of kindness in her memory. A Memorial Service will be held Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 11 AM in Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home and Golden Isles Cremation Center are honored to serve the family.
