Richard Scott Bragg, 31, of Brunswick, GA died on Thursday, March 17, 2022, in Brunswick, Georgia. He was born on March 31, 1990, to Wesley and Debbi Bragg in Biloxi, Mississippi. He graduated from Lakenheath Air Base High School in the United Kingdom in 2009. He had many passions and worked to be the best in whatever endeavor he applied himself to.
Upon graduating he pursued his passion to become a chef and work within the Military Club systems on Lakenheath Air Base. There he participated in several Hell's Kitchen challenges; developing the menus and presentation of the meals to the diners.
Traveling – another passion was traveling around and meeting people. He went on a solo trip to Australia for 6 weeks as well as traveling extensively throughout Europe.
In 2011 he returned to Brunswick and pursued a career in Hospitality which led to him working at Disney in Orlando for a few years. He accepted a position with the Cloister on Sea Island where he continued his pursuit of excellence.
He loved taking care of people which fit nicely with his career in Hospitality. He enjoyed wood-working, riding his motorcycle and anything related to Hospitality.
Richard was preceded in death by Lyda (Bragg) O'Dell, grandmother; Forrest "Moose" Bragg, uncle; Richard "Dick" Wertz; grandfather.
Richard is survived by Debbi W. Bragg, mother; Wesley S. Bragg, father, Amanda (Bragg) Roland, sister; Richard Roland, brother-in-law; Suzanne Bragg, sister; Sharon Yarborough, grandmother; and Valerie Wertz, aunt. Tammy (Bragg) Lockard, aunt; Martin Bragg, uncle. Paige Hersey; fiancé.
Richard will be remembered as a hard-working, kind, sensitive, caring individual who genuinely enjoyed care of people. He was always willing to help and lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. He was a loving son and was greatly loved and will be missed greatly.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 22nd, 2022 from 10:00 am - 11:00 am at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home.
