Richard Patrick Finney, "Tick", 57, a resident of Brunswick, passed away on June 8, 2023, at Southeast Georgia Health System. Born in Beebe, Arkansas, he moved to Camden County in the early 70's. Richard had been a resident of Brunswick since 1999.

He was an ASC Master Technician and had worked on heavy equipment. He was an avid hunter and fisherman. For nine years he had played with the former Gloryland Quartet. He and his son built and flew model rockets. He enjoyed playing with the grandboy.

He is survived by his wife Georgeanna of Brunswick, two daughters, Rachel Finney of Camden County and Anna Marie Finney of Brunswick; one son Daniel Finney of Brunswick; his mother Vonnie Finney of Camden County, two brothers Kenneth Finney and Stephen Finney both of Camden County, one sister Deborah Thompson of Camden County, one grandson Elliott Finney "Grandboy" of Brunswick.

A memorial service will be held at Golden Isles Church of God on June 25th at 1:30 p.m. The family will receive friends prior to the service.
