Richard L. Hemmer, 78, Brunswick, died Sunday at Hospice of the Golden Isles. He had lived here for 10 years coming from Camdenton, Mo.. He was retired from Union Electric Company in Osage Beach, Mo.. He was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church Missouri Synod where he was an active Elder. Funeral services are scheduled for Wed. at 11 AM in the chapel at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home with interment following in Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. Pastor Paul Koch to officiate. Visitation Tues night 6 to 8 Pm in the chapel of the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Elders from Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Kingsland, Ga. Survivors are a daughter, Janice M. Henson of Brunswick; a son, Terry L. Hemmer of Lebanon, Ill; a sister, Lois Soehnlin of Summerville, SC, 4 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
