Richard Mills Justice (Dick), 85, of St. Simons Island, GA went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 25, 2022. He is the son of the late Norris Montgomery Whitaker and Anne Justice Fant and the step-son of the late George Marshall Fant. He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Betty Justice; children: Pam Wagner (Ron), Larinda Justice, Rick Justice (Danielle) and Merri Swartz (Derek); grandchildren: Amanda Waite (Nick), Sarah Wagner (Ross Farbe), Emily Wagner, Lara Justice, Matthew Justice, Nicholas Justice, and Austin Swartz; great grandson: Tucker Waite; siblings: Marsha Bruce (Don), Trisha Cunard and brother-in-law Roy McCall. He was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn McCall and brother in-law Stephen Cunard. Dick was a proud veteran who served in the United States Navy on the USS Wisconsin. He had a tenured career in the food industry which began at Sea Pak on St. Simons Island. His career also included President of House Autry Mills, Rich Products Corp and Johnny Fleeman's Gourmet Foods. He enjoyed playing tennis, volunteering in the community and church, and travel. Dick loved his family, especially his grandkids and was passionate about Clemson football. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, March 19, 2022 at 11:00 am at Fort Frederica Presbyterian Church 6540 Frederica Rd, St. Simons Island, GA 31522. Family will be available to receive family & friends following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles.
