Robert Stephen Gettins 'Bob', 81, of St Marys passed away on May 31, 2019, at Southeast Georgia Health Systems. Robert was born on February 11, 1938, to the late, Robert and Gussie Gettins in Toledo, Ohio. He married Gwen E (Thomas) on July 22, 1972, in Miami, Florida. He loved with an open heart, and he was loved by everyone that knew. He is preceded by a sister, Judy Ann Cress. Robert is survived by his wife of 47 years, Gwen Gettins; children, Tina Bacon, Edward Stephens Gettins (Jennifer), Loretta Cole (Martin), Craig Robert Gettins, and Wayne Gettins (Angela); a sister, Margaret Hoopes; a brother, Richard Patrick Gettins; nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
