He was predeceased by his wife, Rosemary Lazaro McCannon, daughter, Kelly McCannon, and parents Robert and Edith McCannon.
A small, private memorial will be held at a later date.
Bob worked as a heavy machine operator/mechanic, groundskeeper, minister, and small business owner. He was a loving and devoted Husband, Father and Grandfather. He loved helping people whenever he could, never met a stranger, and almost always had a smile on his face. He enjoyed reading his Bible, being outdoors, working with his plants and flowers, going to the vegetable patch to pick fresh produce, and fishing with his buddies. He could fix literally anything, was a pro at finding the best fishing holes, and read his Bible and devotionals until they were in tatters. The void he leaves is immense, but we rest in the knowledge that he is reunited with his love, Rosemary.
In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to Hospice of the Golden Isles.
