Robert Vance Vicent, 65, of Brunswick, GA, passed away on Tuesday, July 13, 2021, at his residence after an extended illness. He was born on June 18, 1956, in Brunswick to the late Jose Vicent Sr. and the late Bobbi McClain. He is survived by his brothers Glenn (Helga) of Lakeland, FL, Joey (Cathy) of Brunswick, as well as nephews Dustin, Tony, and Joshua. Robert was a 1975 graduate of Brunswick High School. Afterward, he served in the U.S. Navy, worked for Scientific Atlanta for 25 years, and worked for the TSA at the Jacksonville Airport for 10 years. A memorial service will be held at Pine Ridge Baptist Church on Saturday, July 16, 2021, at 11:00 AM. It will be officiated by Reverend Dr. Jerry Johns. Cremation services were provided by Golden Isles Cremation Center/Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to Hospice of the Golden Isles or Pine Ridge Baptist Church building fund.
