Obituary

Rodney Ray Harding, 77, of Brunswick, passed peacefully from this world on Friday, October 2, 2020, at Southeast Georgia Health System. Rodney was a lifelong resident of Brunswick and a Glynn Academy graduate. He co-owned and operated a family business, R&H Heating and Air, with his brother Charles Phillip Harding. In retirement, Rodney continued to stay active. He was frequently found driving cars to and from auctions, helping his friends and neighbors with air conditioning work, and spoiling his grandchildren. Rodney enjoyed spending time with his dog, Chrissy, collecting and driving vehicles, traveling to the Great Smoky Mountains, and spending time with his friends and family. Rodney is survived by his son, Rodney Ryan Harding and his wife, Kimberly Swift Harding; daughter, Jennifer Lynn Harding; four Grandchildren, Leighton Price Blocker, Hayden Alexis Harding, Braelynn Hope Davis, and Jaxston Eli Spell; brother, Charles Phillip Harding; nephew, Scott Harding, and numerous friends. An informal memorial service will take place at the Marshes of Glynn Overlook Park on Monday, October 12, 2020, at 3:00pm. The service will be officiated by his dear friend, Chaplain Powell Allen. The family would like to express their deepest appreciation to Ricky Davis and John Lilliston for their help and care over the past few years.
