Ronald D. (Ronnie) Carver, 74, of Brunswick, passed away Tuesday, August 11, 2015 at St. Vincent's Medical Center in Jacksonville, FL surrounded by his loving family. Ronnie worked for United Insurance Company of America for 32 years. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his brothers on their land in Baxley. He was loved by everyone he met and will be especially missed by his Hardee's morning crew and his fellow card players. He was always there to give others a helping hand. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 50 years, Betty Carver; his father, Vernon Carver; and a brother, Terry Carver. Ronnie is survived by his mother, Wilma Carver; a son Michael Carver (Therese); a daughter, Donna Carver Hamilton; brothers, Winton Carver (Elaine), Darell Carver (Shirley), Wayne Carver (Neita), Alan Carver (Susan), and Greg Carver (Barbara); grandchildren, Mike (Lindsey) and Brandon Carver, Jake, Evan and Cole Tyrer; and several nieces and nephews. The family will be having a celebration of Ronnie's life from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 399 West Shore Drive, Brunswick, GA 31523.
