Rose Lee Pridgeon (Big Mamma) of Detroit, MI passed into Gods hands at the age of 87 on August 15, 2016 in Brunswick, GA. Her family was by her side when she drifted off to be with the Lord. Rose Lee was born on February 28, 1929 in Brunswick, GA to Loriel and Louvenia Green. She received her education in Camden County, GA. She married Willie Mack Pridgeon Sr. of Valdosta, GA on December 22, 1947 in Brunswick, GA. To this union, thirteen children were born. Rose Lee was a dedicated wife, involved mother, loving grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was an excellent example of a strong matriarch of her family. Rose Lee is preceded in death by her parents, Loriel Green and Louvenia Anderson, her husband Willie Mack Pridgeon Sr. and her two daughters, Willie Mae Pridgeon and Patricia M. Pridgeon. She leaves behind seven daughters, Louvenia M. Dawson, Sandra L. Berry, Maxine D. Pridgeon, Deborah J. Jones (Charles), Wanda L. Thomas, Rosemary E. Jackson (Edmond) and Jessie T. Jones, and four sons, Willie M. Pridgeon, Jr. (Renae), Ronnie L. Pridgeon, Robert L. Pridgeon and Landis M. Pridgeon and a host of grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. Rose Lee Pridgeon prided herself in her children and leaves her greatest legacy of keeping her family together. "SHE WILL TRULY BE MISSED BUT NOT FORGOTTEN."
