Roy Harrison Rosenbalm, 87, of Brunswick, Georgia, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 27, 2014. He was born and raised in Bristol, Virginia. He moved to Brunswick, Georgia over 40 years ago. Roy was a Master Plumber and Owner of Roy's Plumbing in Brunswick, Georgia for over 30 years. He served in the United States Navy, was a former Sullivan County Police Officer, and served in the Brunswick Georgia Citizen's Police Academy. He was a loving husband for 58 years and is preceded in death by his wife Patsy Rosenbalm; one son James Rosenbalm; one daughter Mary Kellar; and one sister Norma Lampkins. He leaves behind many family members including one sister Shirley Phipps, two daughters Patty Reynolds and Karen Harper; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. He also leaves behind many extended family members and cherished friends. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2014 at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home and will hold a graveside service on Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. The Chaplain Tim Brown will be officiating. Honorary Pallbearers include his sons-in-law, nephews, grandsons, great-grandsons and cherished friends.
