Russell "Rusty" Barry Smith, 68, of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away on March 4, 2025. He

was born on July 16, 1956, to the late Claude Howard Smith and Martha Louise Livingston.

A born and raised native of Brunswick, Rusty served in the US Air Force from 1975 to 1979

before being honorably discharged as a Sergeant. He worked for Pinova/Hercules for over 30 years as safety manager.

Rusty was a family man through and through, harboring immense love and dedication for his family. He is also remembered for his love of fitness. He was often seen walking and running by neighbors and friends, regularly attended Anytime Fitness, and was an avid tennis player in his earlier years.

Rusty was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Martha Smith; as well as his daughter, Candice Smith.

He is survived by his siblings, Ricky Smith, Ronnie Smith (Mary), Robin Reichenbach, and Ray Smith; his grandson, Elijah Smith; as well as many nieces, nephews, and grand-nieces and nephews.
