Ryan Matthew Aiken, 40, passed away on June 18, 2025, in Brunswick, Georgia. He was born on September 11, 1984, to Michele Kurchena and Michael Aiken in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

Ryan graduated from Kennesaw Mountain High School in Kennesaw, Georgia and later joined the Navy. He spent eight years as a Navy Aviation Electronics Mate and transitioned into a career as a chef before returning to Aviation Electronics.

He loved his family dearly and cherished the time he got to spend with them, especially with his nieces and nephews.

He is survived by his parents, Michele Kurchena and Michael Aiken; siblings, Sarah Aiken Vincent, Alexander Aiken, and Patrick Aiken; as well as 7 nieces and nephews.

A Funeral Mass will be held on July 5, 2025, at 11:00 am at St. Joseph's Historic Church, 4214 Loretto Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32223. Interment will take place at a later date.
