Today, we celebrate the life of Shantee, just the way she wanted. No tears or silence, she wasn't one for that. She was a force of nature, a woman who lived boldly, laughed loudly, and embraced life with a full heart. Coffee in hand and great food on the table. She made every moment count.

Shantee was a straight shooter with a heart of gold and unfiltered honesty. She didn't just have friends – she had a tribe – a circle of people she cherished, protected, and lifted up. If you were in her tribe, you knew it.

Today is about remembering how she lived – by sharing stories, laughter, and maybe even a little mischief. Because Shantee would not want us to mourn; she'd want us to celebrate. Here's to a life well-lived and a spirit that will never fade.

Shantee was preceded in death by her husband, Michael Weseman; and her mother, Carolyn Hutson.

She is survived by her son, Chris Weseman; her brother, Craig Sapp; and her father, Roger Sapp.

There is no need for flowers or donations on her behalf. Just a request that the next time you're out, share a meal and fill the room with laughter – because that is exactly how she wanted it.
