Sharon Ann West

(Hester), 67, passed away peacefully at her home in Brunswick, Georgia, on January 4, 2026. Born in Soperton, Georgia, on August 17, 1958, Sharon was a woman defined by her fierce love and her unwavering devotion to those she held dear.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Donald A. West, her mother, Rose Hester; and her brother, Jonny Hester

Her legacy of steady love will live on through her survivors; her children, Candace Marie Owens (Phillip E.), Spring S. Trahan, and Dixie A. Bojorquez (George); grandchildren, Dayinera West (Ryan Manning), Sierra Bores, Hunter A. West (Judith), Thomas A. Owens, Phillip E. Owens Jr., Savannah L. Janousek, Elena K. Reed, and Aubrey G. Bojorquez; great-grandchildren: Charlie Rose Mosley and Remington Grace Mosley; brothers Billy, Larry, Tim, and Toney Hester; and sister, Nancy Jo Hester; several nieces, nephews, and very loved family friends.

Sharon was known for her rare combination of a strong will and a tender heart. She lived by the belief that family was everything. Her home was a sanctuary where the doors were always open, and she made it her mission to ensure that no one ever left without feeling fed, cared for, and deeply loved. To many, Sharon was the very definition of comfort and strength—she was "home" to everyone who knew her.

Her life was surly a gift to all , and her nurturing spirit will be felt for generations to come.

A service in her memory will be held on Saturday, January 10th, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at United Pentecostal Church, 5608 New Jesup Hwy, Brunswick, GA, 31523
