Sharon Sloan, 67, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems. Born and raised in Hazlehurst, GA, Sharon spent most of her adult life in Brunswick. She was a registered nurse and loved caring for her patients. She is preceded in death by her parents, Ervin Kicklighter and Jeannette Carter. Survivors include her husband of 32 years, D.L. Sloan; daughter, Cindy Taylor; two sons, Donnie Sloan and Robert Jeff Kicklighter; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. A visitation will begin at 5:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, 2017 with a Memorial Service to begin at 6:00 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home, Golden Isles Cremation Center is in charge of the arrangements.
