Shirley Wilcox King, 78, of Brunswick died Tuesday, June 6, 2006 at Southeast Georgia Health Systems--Brunswick Campus. Mrs. King had been a life-long resident of Glynn County and a longtime member of Pine Haven Baptist Church. She had worked as a seamstress at Brunswick Manufacturing Co. and was a member of various clubs and organizations. She is survived by her three daughters: Janice Nolting of Darien, Anna McRaven of Brunswick and Patricia Asher of Anderson, SC; one son, Jasper King, Jr. of Ellabell, GA; three sisters: Margie Parker of Nahunta, GA, Ellen Moyers and Evelyn Gibson, both of Brunswick; one brother, Tommy Wilcox of Pensacola, FL; 8 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers are: John McIntyre, Russell McIntyre, Michael Adams, Robbie King, David Knox and Joe Vasquez. Honorary pallbearers are the residents of St. Mark's Towers and the Widower's Sunday School class and deacons of Pine Haven Baptist Church.
