Stanley Rogowski, beloved husband, father, and grandfather, lost his long battle with cancer on Monday, January 13th, 2025 at Southeast Georgia Health System Hospital in Brunswick, GA.

He lived a full and beautiful life full of service to his country, woodworking and carpentry, enjoying time in various National and State Parks camping and volunteering his services, working for the postal service, and most importantly spending time with his family and friends.

Mr. Stanley Kenneth Rogowsi was born to Joseph and Barbara Rogowski in Cohoes, NY, on July 28th, 1951. He enlisted in the United States Navy after high school as an Electronics Technician stationed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. After over twenty years of faithful service, having traveled all across America, he retired as a USN First Class Petty Officer in St Marys, GA.

He is survived by his wife of 55 years Mary Rogowski, and their three children; daughter, Karen (Nick) Holland; son, Stan (Adrienne) Rogowski; daughter, Theresa (Jason) Destrada; and grandchildren; Nicholas (Emily) Holland, Logan Destrada, Caroline Holland, Olivia Rogowski, Ethan Destrada, and Benjamin Rogowski. He is also survived by brothers Pete and John Rogowski. Stan will be greatly missed, not only by his family but by many members of the community.
