Stephen P. Hanson, 56, of Brunswick died Sunday, October 16, 2016 at Hospice of the Golden Isles. Born in Pierce County, Stephen has been a resident of Brunswick for most of his life attending Brunswick High School. A painter by profession, he enjoyed his free time as a guitarist in several local bands and watching NASCAR. Survivors include his mother, Faye Hanson of Brunswick; daughters, Abbigail Faith Taylor and Tiffany Ray both of Brunswick; a sister, Donna L. Hanson of Brunswick; a grandson, Colton Ray; several aunts and uncles; and several nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 19, 2016 at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Interment of ashes will be at Brunswick Memorial Park Cemetery. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
