Tommy Miller, 85, of Brunswick, Georgia went to be with our Lord on Monday, October 16, 2023.

He was born in Elizabeth, Louisiana on June 17, 1938, to the late Frank and Irene Miller. They moved to Brunswick when he was 2 months old. Tommy attended local schools, graduating from Glynn Academy in 1956. He played on his high school football team. After graduation he served in the National Guard and was honorably discharged in 1961. Tommy began his career at Olin Mathieson Chemical Company and then began working at Georgia Pacific, retiring after 30 years.

Tommy was a member of Norwich Baptist Church where he was a Deacon and Chairman of the Deacons for over 20 years, served on numerous committees, and taught a men's Sunday School class. Tommy was a kind and patient man, with a great sense of humor. He enjoyed fishing and watching football. His greatest joy was being a husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Raymond Miller, and son-in-law, Bill Fork.

Tommy is survived by his beloved wife of 65 years, Mae Miller; three children, Vicki Fork of Peachtree City, GA, Gary (Cathy) Miller of Lawrenceville, Ga, Andrea Miller of Guyton, GA; six grandchildren, Kathryn (Mike) Petruchik, Hillary (Josh) Miller, Garrison Miller, Luke Miller, Matthew Miller, and Jonathan Fork; two great-grandchildren, Raelynn Miller and Connor Petruchik; sister-in-law, Christine Powell; brother-in-laws, J.L. (Phyllis) Johns, Bobby (Lanett) Johns, and Larry (Janis) Johns, and their families.

Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00am with the Memorial Service following at 11:00am on Saturday, October 21, 2023, at Norwich Baptist Church, 5661 New Jesup Highway, Brunswick, GA. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the family.
