V. Wayne Waters, 62, of Brunswick passed away Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at his residence. A lifelong resident of Brunswick, he was owner and operator of Affordable Air. He also worked at Brunswick Pulp and Paper for 22 years. He graduated from Glynn Academy in 1961 and attended Berry College and Georgia Tech. He was a very energetic person and he loved to work. Wayne was a truly great person who loved his family dearly and worked tirelessly in the business that he owned and operated. He was a perfectionist, always giving his best in everything he did. He was a loving husband, a devoted father and grandfather and was loved by all who knew him. He will be missed more than words can say. He is survived by his wife, Anne Burnam Waters of Brunswick; one daughter, Stephanie Lyn Waters Foster; one son, Todd W. Waters; a sister, Betty Callahan and a brother, Gary Waters, all of Brunswick; Four grandchildren: Erin Vaughn, Todd Waters, Jr., Tyler Vaughn and Emily Vaughn and several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to Hospice of the Golden Isles, 1692 Glynco Parkway, Brunswick, GA 31525.
