Vickie Lynn Bailey, 70, of Lakeland, GA, went home to be with the Lord and Savior on June 3, 2024. She was born in Clinch County, Georgia, on March 22, 1954, to Alberta Downing and Wilbur E. Bailey and was the second youngest of 10 siblings.

Vickie began her early life in the medical field until she became a caregiver and mother to the 3 loves of her life: Joseph, Jamey, and Jason Chauncey. For the past 47 years, she never left her special-needs son's side.

Along with her 3 sons, she leaves behind 2 sisters, Margaret Brogdon and Elizabeth Browning; special friend Robert Huether; 11 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; a large number of nieces/nephews; and furbaby Bailey.

A celebration of life ceremony will be held at a later date and time.
