Vivian "Vicki" Sullins Kline Hunter of Brunswick passed away Monday, December 27, 2021, at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, just two months short of her 78th birthday.
Born in Cartersville, Georgia, to William and Mattie Sullins, she was a 1962 graduate of Glynn Academy. She graduated from Brewton Parker College in 1964 and Valdosta State University in 1966. In 1976, Vicki received a Master's in Education from Georgia Southern University and later retired from teaching after 23 years in the English department with Glynn Academy.
Vicki was a faithful Sunday school teacher at First Baptist Church and Pine Ridge Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a granddaughter, Emily Kline.
She is survived by her husband of twenty-seven years, George Hunter; daughter, Lynn Cook (Dwight); son, David Kline (Deirdre); two granddaughters, Katie Kline and Madison Kline; and two grandsons, Noah Cook (Liberty) and Cooper Cook.
A walk-through viewing will be held Thursday, December 30, 2021, from 2:30 to 3:00 p.m. at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home and will be followed by a procession to the gravesite. A celebration of Vicki's life will be held in a few weeks in the new sanctuary of Pine Ridge Baptist Church.
