Walter Bladen, 79 of Brunswick passed away on Tuesday, November 21, 2017 with his family at his side. He was predeceased by his parents, Lucy and H.H. "Bud" Hunter, and John Bladen. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Florence Dozier Bladen; daughters, Shanna Ireland of Brunswick, GA and Susan (Joshua) Hortman of Lizella, GA; grandchildren, Lasairyn and Gareth Ireland, Walker and Wyatt Hortman; brother, James Hunter. Walter was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. A graveside service will be held at Brunswick Memorial Park on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 2:00pm with Rev. Jim Crandall officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service in the chapel.
