During her years living in McIntosh County she was a small business owner, running a produce stand that had some of the best fresh produce found in McIntosh, and many could find themselves enjoying a cup of coffee at 7am at Wanda's Roadside Diner. Wanda had a love for her family and life like no other. She was baptized at Glyndale Baptist Church by Rev. John Horton, where she attended for many years. During her time at Glyndale, Wanda taught Sunday School and a young children's discipleship class alongside her Aunt Helen. In the latter years or her life Wanda enjoyed attending Bay Harbor Church of God and had a heart for her church family. She found true joy in being a grandmother and spent time with her grandchildren daily. Also, she found relaxation in playing cards and watching the birds, which are two things she loved doing. During the last few months of her life, she was given the great experience of finding true love, and for once she glowed amongst the pain. Wanda can be most remembered for her caring heart and sweet spirit. All who knew her remember her because she left a lasting impression from the first impression, she loved huge! Family and Friends who knew Wanda experienced that love!
