Wendell Wayne Strickland, 68, of Brunswick, GA died on Saturday, March 14, 2020 at his home in Brunswick, Georgia. Born on April 12, 1951 to the late Connie and Florida Catherine Drury Strickland in Brunswick, Georgia. He was a retired painter as well as a member of the Local 1169 and Local 30. Wendell was preceded by brothers, Gerald, Wilbur, Carol, and Roger Strickland, sisters, Doris Middleton, Barbara Herndon, and Patricia Strickland. Wendell is survived by daughters, Leigh Anne Ammons (Billy), Amy Courson (Darryl); grandchildren, Chase Ammons, Taylor Ammons, Dylan Jones, and A1C Cory Jones; as well as several nieces and nephews. Arrangements may be made by the family at a later date. Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home is honored to handle the cremation arrangements.
