Wesley Ray Yeomans, 19, a native of Brunswick, Georgia, passed away on Tuesday, November 26th, 2019. Wesley was the son of Matthew Yeomans and Donna Gates. Wesley was a graduate of Brunswick High School. He was most proud of his developing machinery skills he pursued through a local apprenticeship. He loved to drive cars fast! He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Wesley was a wonderful person. Wesley was preceded in death by his grandmother, Vivian Gates, and his grandfather, Johnny Elder Yeomans, Jr. His parents, Donna Marie Gates and Matthew Wayne Yeomans, survive him, along with his sister, Ava Gates, his brother, Aidan Yeomans, his grandmother, Melissa Frost, his grandfather, Gerald Gates, his uncle, George Gates, and several aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family. Friends are invited to join the family in a memorial service honoring Wesley's life, to be held in the chapel at Brunswick Memorial Park on Tuesday, December 3rd, 2019 at 2 p.m., with the Rev. Tim Brown officiating. The family will receive visitors during the hour preceding the service at that same location. Wesley will be laid to rest in the cemetery outside of the chapel following the funeral proceedings.
