Mrs. Willene Spoon James, 84, of Brunswick, GA, passed away on November 9, 2023 peacefully at her home. She was born on November 11, 1938 to William and Ruby Sumner Spoon.

She was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church for 70 years. She was married to Mr. Kendall James for 63 years until his passing in 2019. They worked beside each other for over 20 years at their own business Kendall James Tire. Mrs. James enjoyed working with her flowers and plants in her yard. She dearly loved her family, friends, and church family. Willene was affectionately known as "Goose" to her grandchildren, a nickname Kendall had given her.

Willene is survived by her three sons: David James (Teresa), Randy James, and Paul James along with several grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. James will be held on Monday, November 13, 2023, at 11:00 am at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home in Brunswick, GA with visitation being held one hour prior. Burial and committal services will take place at Chapel Park Cemetery.
