Our lives were blessed to have been family or friend of William O. "Bill" Frank. Bill, 83, died Wednesday evening at his residence. He was known by many, and known as; Billy, Mr. Bill and Bicycle Bill, among others. His love for his family, friends and acquaintances will always be remembered. Born and raised in Breckenridge County, Kentucky, Mr. Frank entered the United States Air Force and served during the Korean War. He worked for Sears in Savannah, GA., prior to moving to Brunswick. He worked for Babcock & Wilcox, prior to their closing, earned his technical degree in welding at the local college and retired from the City of Brunswick as a welder. In later years, he worked at Wal-Mart, assembling bicycles and then worked in other areas of the store prior to his full retirement. He was a licensed barber. Mr. Frank is survived by his wife, Jean of 57 years, two daughters, Sharon Joiner and her husband Darrell, Donna Whiddon and her husband Brad; four grandchildren, Christie Dickey (Wyman), Misty Frank-Seguritan, Karen Rafaelly (Mike) and Thomas Whiddon (Cassie); five great grandchildren, Alexus, Claire, Christopher, Gavin and Liam; many in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his one brother and two sisters. Family will receive friends, Friday from 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Brunswick Memorial Park Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be Saturday at 11:00 am in the chapel of the funeral home with Rev. Darrell Joiner and Rev. Bert Cramer officiating. Interment will follow in Chapel Park Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be Tracy Walker, Todd Hurley, Thomas Whiddon, Eddie Moore, Tony Moore, Larry Jaggers, Wyman Dickey and Craig Hurley. Honorary Pallbearers will be Harley & Billie Jean Harris, Jim & Sue Wainright, Fay Stephens, Penny Smith, Members of Glynn Baptist Church, Employees of Davita Dialysis North, Residents of Ellis Point, Dr. Mark Watkins and Drs. Ted & Emily Feely.
