This funeral home offers a varying range of caskets and alternative containers with different prices to select from. Many caskets may appear similar in appearance but may differ greatly in their quality construction. The following statement may assist you in making your selection: Gasketed: These caskets have a gasket around the lid to help resist the entrance of air, water and other elements. They may be constructed of different gauges of steel, copper or bronze. There is no scientific evidence that any casket with a gasket around the lid will preserve human remains. Non-Gasketed: These caskets are not designed by the manufacturer to resist the entrance of air, water or other elements. They may be constructed of metal, hardwood, or wood products. A complete list of caskets and alternative containers will be provided by the funeral home.
