Mr. George was a lifelong resident of Brunswick. He graduated from Glynn Academy and was the owner/operator of Tommy''s Auto Repair. He was a U.S. Army veteran serving in the Vietnam Era.

Mrs. Murray had lived in Brunswick for eight years, coming from Vermont. She worked as a waitress at the Waffle House on U.S. Highway 341 for five years, and was a former member of the Brunswick Jaycees. She worked for many years as a nurse's aid at the Brandon Training School in Brandon, Vermont.
